Entitlement

If you haven't seen this video, it should make you laugh and infuriate you all at the same time.

It made me laugh because I kept thinking to myself, is she serious?  But I think she is and I think this perfectly illustrates a problem with our country today.  There are too many people whom feel entitled to the liberties that were faught long and hard for through battles on the field and battles in the legislature.

Is anyone and everyone entitled to health care?  I don't think this is a black and white issue.  I sure as heck don't want to be paying for blondie up above who is so smug and irresponsible.  Yet, this is what our president has pushed so hard for.  I believe he is creating a state of forced dependence on the state, on the country which is one step closer to total dependence on the the government.  One step closer to socialism and one step further from me making up my own dang mind on what I want to do.  I feel like they are taking away my agency.

And, dear readers, how do you feel about the state of Arizona taking a stand on enforcing their laws on immigration?  They didn't make up new ones, they are just enforcing the ones already in place.

John Ziegler is .....

AWESOME!!

He has created a documentary/movie "Media Malpractice How Obama got elected." Basically he has sorted through the sea of Media Bias toward's President Obama. It's interesting and frustrating at the same time because people aren't able to make solid decisions about the leader of this country because all the facts aren't being presented. Instead many networks have become Obama's PR reps! Here is a preview to the documentary. Then there is a link to an interview Mr. Ziegler recently had with a pretentious snot from MS-NBC.

I wish more people wouldn't be afraid to put these "know-it-alls" in their place. If your network calls to interview you about David Letterman's tasteless attack on Sarah Palin and the interviewer ends up attacking the character of the victim instead. Then there needs to be someone to put them in their place.

Here's to you John Ziegler!!! Lets get them all frazled over their guilt of being biased. So much for fair and balanced.

Where should policy be made?....

The Courts are here to uphold the constitution "as it is written". To hold those responsible who have broken a law. The Courts or rather the Judges in those courts are not here to create policy, or bend and flex the constitution to mold to the current fads. Policy is created by the voices of the people. Through elections or the local representatives. Everybody knows this from high school.

So many times these judges feel like they have the ultimate power to decide the direction of this country. Take for instance the Gay Marriage. Many states have had the issue of Gay Marriage on their ballots, and correct me if I'm wrong, most states have voted to keep marriage between a man and a woman. However, the court keeps overturning "the policy" that the majority of the people have clearly expressed.

With that said a new vacancy in the supreme court has opened and names are starting to pop up for the nominees. This Justice Sonia Sotomayor certainly doesn't seem to be in tune with what the responsiblities of the court are... And this could be a future Justice in the highest court.

Freedom of Speech .. ....

Isn't it wonderful that we live in a country that allows us to express our own opinions free of consequences and persecution. Or so we thought....

I have to say that I thought that it was amazing, awesome, wonderful that people congregated together all over the US April 15th to exercise their first amendment rights and tell the government that they are not OK with the irresponsible "stimulus packages". They are not OK with budgets that will increase the deficiet by trillions. They are not OK with the direction of the country is heading. It was energizing to hear that people all over this country were feeling the same concern that I worry about. So the coverage that I saw on TV was horrible. Derogatory comments here and there from MSNBC, CNN and other such scum. Department of Homeland Security director, Janet Napolitano, creating a concern for a "right-wing" threat. Not to mention the belittling comments and unprofessional handling of interviews at the Teaparties themselves.

So, who you ask attended these tea parties? Well from what you heard above you would think perverted, dumb, warmongers who only care about flinging their guns around in a threatening manner. Reality check, most of the people who attended are hard working citizens who most likely had to take work off to be there. There was a man there with his 2 year old son. Republicans to Democrats alike were all there united under the belief they don't like the CHANGE thats happening. I was not made aware that the riot squad had to show up to contain these "angry right-wing nuts".

How come in the media whenever there is a Code Pink rally, or gay rights rally, or some other left wing agenda rally. It gets great coverage by the networks and it appears to be a very moving peaceful event. When in reality some of these rallies, not all of them have to be broken up by the police and arrests are made. Do you hear any derogatory comments, or belittling comments when these people are being covered. No!!! Its all sob stories about how horrible the country is to these special interest groups. Does this seem crazy to anyone else?

How come there are reporters out there interviewing people at these tea parties, treating them like they are some hostile witness?? How come? I mean how combative can a person get holding a child in their arms?

President Obama, Congress and Senate we are letting you know we don't agree with you!!!!

On another note. Way to go Miss California for standing up to that Joke, Perez Hylton, on his question about gay marriage. That showed pure guts to answer the question the way she did. There should be no shame in standing up for what you believe in and again Exercising your freedom of speech. But once again this poor beauty queen was persecuted over her belief marriage should be between a man and a woman. Now if she had said she thought gay marriage was OK she probably would have won. Now she is being villified everywhere for her beliefs. You know what YOU GO GIRL!!! Express it like you see it!

Whatever happened to agreeing to disagree.

Just because we all don't think the same does not make us wrong and it doesn't make us right. Well, your right if you think like me;) Just Kidding. But I think that it is wrong to have the media decide what is good freedom of speech and what is bad. SHUT UP and report. Let the people decide from the FACTS!

We the People!!! Take back the Power!!

"They work for us!!! We don't work for them!"

Thanks Sara for pointing out this video!!

Do you regret it?

Just curious? With all the new "changes" being proposed and taking place. Does anyone regret casting a vote for a man that doesn't hide the fact that he worries more about his next appearence than that status of our economy? Or how about the fact that he makes no excuses at his goal of redistributing the wealth? How about the horrific "changes" he made in the name of LIFE? American taxpayers are now paying for abortions to be performed in Mexico. One of the first things he did in office was lift a ban on International Abortion Aid . I cannot believe that he still believes that partial birth abortions are "essential medical procedures". I'm completely sickened by the thought of anyone thinking that.

What about the spendulus bill with all that pork? Or how about the budget plan where he plans to spend close to 10 trillion dollars? Lets not forget on his watch, not Bush's, his watch tax payer money went to bonuses for AIG execs. And here is the thing. You can't blame AIG for this entirely. It was already in their contracts. Most of them have been working for free for the company during the tough period the company was going through. Some of these bonuses were there to supplement for the money they went without. Here's the thing either the adminstration didn't do their homework OR they knew about it and decided to go through with it anyway considering AIG was one of the big backers for many key democratic campaigns including our dear President's.

I mean really. Is this the change that you wanted? A man that appears to have a clear conscience at the possibility of bankrupting America. So many promises during the campaign, have they come true to be what you expected? Really?

Lets us hope the opposing voices to this madness get louder and louder!!!
